*Alcohol test:
*1. Press and hold the "POWER" button, the green LED will keep lighting for ready in about 10 seconds, the unit enters into the testing status.
*2. Wait about 10 seconds then exhale into the exhale pipe and look into the testing result (user alcohol level) as follows:
A. GREEN light on: Safe - under 0.05% BAC
B. YELLOW light on: Caution - 0.05% BAC
C. RED and YELLOW light on: Danger - over 0.05% BAC
Note: In order to get an accurate testing result, please don't use torch while doing alcohol test

After having a beer, waitited a bit, and started blowing. This meter gave me 1 green, 2 yellows, and 1 red, one after the other, and then it stopped working. I have the theory it has to do something with condensation.
So, don't waste your money.
WORSE THAN TERRIBLE!!!!! Can I rate 0 stars? April 9, 2010

I purchased one of these units out of curiosity. I proceeded to test it, I had one beer then blew in it, instantly red came up (DANGER DO NOT DRIVE). I had another beer and a shot of tequila and blew into it instantly, yellow came up, hmm whats going on here. In the interest of science I had one more beer and another shot of tequila and blew into it instantly, the green light came on. Wait a minute that means hop in the car and drive, right...no. The flashlight is a little dim so I guess you might want to look for something more dependable!
